Great news for three of our best players at Barrie Futsal. Three of Barrie Futsal’s most talented players were invited to take part in the Canadian National Futsal Team preliminary ID camps.
Two preliminary camps were hosted by the Toronto Futsal League on September 17th and September 23rd, 2011. The top 20 players and an additional 4 goalies will be selected to participate in a 3 day ID Camp from September 30th to October 2nd ,hosted by the Ontario Soccer Association through the Toronto Futsal League.
The Canadian Soccer Association’s Futsal Working Group announced earlier, a series of ID Camps to find the nation’s best futsallers over the following two months which will ultimately determine who represents Canada at the 2012 CONCACAF Futsal Championships on the road to the 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup to be hosted in Thailand. The cities hosting ID camps were Ottawa, Quebec, Toronto, and Vancouver.
Congratulations to Edwin G., Justin H., and Walter C. These very talented futsallers from the Simcoe County area certainly deserve the opportunity to show their talent. Way to go guys, we are very proud!.
